Sigríður Birna Matthíasdóttir is a transdisciplinary designer and computer scientist. Sigríður's journey in design began at Studio Bercot in Paris, where she studied fashion design. She further honed her skills at the Iceland University of the Arts, completing her master's in design. Here, her focus shifted towards speculative design, delving deep into the intricacies of the second self online and the evolving landscape of digital identities.

As her intrigue grew regarding the profound influence of technology on societal constructs, Sigríður felt a calling to expand her horizon. To better understand the mechanics and implications of this digital age, she decided to study computer science.
