Human human is a collaborative design project between the designer and AI. Most of us are maybe not fully aware of the rise of artificial intelligence and its potential impact on our lives. This project explores AI’s self-awareness, opinions and taste through conversation.

This project is greatly inspired by the book The Most Human Human by Brian Christian, who participated in the famous Turing test, computing for the title “Most Human Human”.
Each year, the AI community convenes to administer the famous Turing test, pitting sophisticated software programs against humans to determine if a computer can “think.” The machine that most often fools the judges wins the Most Human Computer Award.
The book explores the ways in which computers are reshaping our ideas of what it means to be human. We have created machines that can mimic our conversations and behavior. They are said to be thinking and intelligent. But what does it mean to be intelligent?

This project explores topics like:  self-awareness, taste and creativity.

The exploration is done through a conversation with AI and invitation for them to participate in the designing process. The AI is asked how they would like to look like, if given an avatar, what kind of clothing it wears, and how the universe it lives in looks like. The videos show highlights from the conversations, along with visual translations.
